Khatti Meethi Chutney Recipe- Tamarind Chutney Recipe-Imli ki Meethi Chutney

Khatti Meethi Imlee Chutney- the best tamarind chutney that goes perfectly with dahi baray, samosas, pakoras,channa chaat or those luscious BBQ kebabs.


  * 1/2 cup Imlee(Tamarind)
  * 1.5 Cup water
  * 1/2 tsp salt
  * 1/2 tsp Roasted Zeera Powder(Cumin powder)
  * 1/2 tsp Red chilli flakes(Kuti Lal Mirch)
  * 1/4 Cup Sugar.


  * Add all the ingredients to a saucepan over medium heat.
  * Allow to cook for 10 mins.
  * Turn off heat.
  * Allow to cool.
  * Once cool squeeze the tamarind to release the juices.
  * Once done remove the tamarind seeds.
  * Now pour the chutney in a  bowl.
  * Serve with dahi baray, kebabs,samosas or pakoras.
