Double Chocolate Oreo Cheesecake - Cheese Cake Recipe - Everyday Masala Cooking

Chocolate Oreo Cheesecake:

Ingredients Crust: 16 Cup, Butter(melted) 1.25 Cups ,Oreo Biscuits ½ tbsp Powdered Sugar

Cheese Cake: 50 g Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Bar ¼ cup Heavy Cream 1+34 Cup Cream Cheese ¾ Cup Powdered Sugar 1+14 cup Greek Yoghurt 2 eggs 1 tsp Vanilla Extract Pinch of salt 18 Cup Hershey Unsweetened Cocoa Powder


Preheat oven to 325F(163 C) Line base of pan with tin foil. Crush the oreo biscuits. In a bowl combine melted butter,powdered sugar and crushed oreos. Mix well with a spatula until well combined . Layer pan with oreo crust about 1 inch up to the pan sides. Bake for 12-15 mins until dry. Reduce oven temperature to 275 F(135 C). For the rest of the cheese cake: In a bowl pour in cream and chocolate bar. Microwave for 60 secs until melted. Stir well to combine. In another bowl beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add in yoghurt,eggs,vanilla ,cocoa powder,salt and beat until well combined. Now pour in melted chocolate and cream mixture.Mix well. Pour mixture onto baked and well cooled crust. Bake at 135 C for 1 hour 5 mins until top appears dry but cheese cake jiggles when moved. Turn off oven and let the cheese cake sit in warm oven with door closed for 20 mins. Remove cheese cake from oven .Allow to cool on cooling rack. Cut up in slices. Serve chilled with your favorite chocolate sauce!
